For our fast-growing international E-mobility design agency, we are looking for an experienced Designer to join our team. If you are a skilled and ambitious Designer with a passion for innovative design, this might be your dream job.
VROEGH Design (VD) is a globally oriented Dutch agency specialised in the development of Light Electric Vehicles. We work as an external R&D department for established brands and promising start-ups. With our team of ambitious professionals, we help mobility brands with the development of their ideal vehicles.
In the flourishing market of E-mobility, our distinctive and aesthetic vehicle design is what sets us apart, alongside the development of technical and functional issues, innovation of design concepts and processes. As a Designer at VD you will have the opportunity to work on creative projects with mobility brands from all over the world.
In the role of Designer you’ll be leading design processes. With your creative ideas and knowledge of running projects, communicating between clients, engineers and designers you’ll inspire our design team to create high-quality products for our partners. You’ll pitch products to our customers on a regular basis. In these presentations you’ll demonstrate concepts, ideas and explain design choices to our clients.
The role requires exceptional design skills along with an understanding of all the technical (im)possibilities in mobility design and the ability to collaborate with different partners and colleagues.
Furthermore you will:
- Go wild and apply your knowledge and creativity in outstanding designs
- Research interesting innovations and/ opportunities to apply to running projects
- Develop the aesthetical and technical aspects of mobility solutions
- Present concepts, ideas and design choices internally and to our customers
Our ideal candidate is an experienced Designer with a passion and drive for design and innovation, someone who dreams about shapes, colours, textures and is able to communicate that to our clients and colleagues. Someone who understands the dynamics of design, who notices it when a product is out of proportion and is not shy to let that know.
We are looking for someone with the following personal competences:
- Ability to manage and execute projects, set priorities and keep the overview
- High-level communication skills: internal and external with clients
- A proactive and motivated mindset
- Unlimited drive to keep learning and developing
Accompanied with these qualifications:
- Minimum of five years experience in product design
- Degree in a relevant education (Industrial Design or equivalent
- An outstanding portfolio that underpins your achievements and personal drive
- Experienced with innovative design concepts and processes
- Experienced with 3D modelling software and modern presentation techniques
- Fluent in English and Dutch
